Saving energy and money around your home has become even more important as we become more concerned with climate change and protecting our environment. Check out our Energy saving tips for your home:

• Buy energy-efficient appliances. Look for the Energy Star rating or the Emirates Energy Efficiency label.
• Switch off all electronics at the wall when not in use.
• Ensure your A/C is regularly serviced. Badly maintained A/C units consume 10-20% more electricity.
• Keep your thermostat set at 78 degree Fahrenheit; or higher, and on “auto”.
• Take a short shower instead of a bath.
• Was your laundry at a 30 degree setting.
• Close doors to keep A/C and heat in.
